We describe our products, services, approach and past work as accurately as we can. Even so, the site is general information about what we do, not advice for your particular situation and not a specification.

Case studies and knowledge articles describe what happened in a specific project. They are examples, not a promise that the same approach, effort or outcome applies to your project, and they are not a quotation.

The content of this website — text, layout, graphics, illustrations, screenshots, logos, the "Gold Squirrel Studio" and product names, and the underlying code — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may read, print or share our pages for your own evaluation of us. You may not copy them into your own site or marketing, present them as your own, or use our branding, without written permission.

Sending an enquiry

The forms, contact buttons and the assistant are how you start a conversation with us. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract, a purchase order, a binding quotation, a delivery commitment or a service agreement, and it does not oblige either side to continue.

We may decline an enquiry or a project, including where we think we are not the right team for it.

Pricing, scope and timelines

Nothing on this website is an offer, and nothing said through the website or the assistant is a binding quotation. Any price, scope, effort estimate or timeline discussed on the site or with the assistant is preliminary.

A commitment from us exists only when it is in writing and signed or otherwise formally confirmed by GSS, in a proposal, statement of work or agreement that states its own terms.

The GSS AI assistant

The assistant on this site is a tool for initial project discovery. It helps you describe what you need and shows you the parts of our work that relate to it. It is not a member of our team, and it is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice.

Its answers are generated automatically, may be incomplete, and may be wrong. In particular it does not quote prices, agree scope, promise timetables, or make any commitment on our behalf — where the site says the team confirms something, that is literal. Anything the assistant tells you needs a person to confirm it, and we do not accept liability for a decision taken on the strength of an assistant reply alone.

Please do not use the assistant to send confidential information or third-party personal data, and do not attempt to make it disclose information it is not meant to give, or to use it to attack or overload this website.

Third-party services and links

This site uses third-party services to run the features described in our privacy policy, including hosting, email delivery, an AI provider, a submission challenge, SMS delivery for phone verification, and Google Analytics when accepted.

Where we link to another website, we do not control it and we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it. It can be interrupted by maintenance, hosting or network problems, or by a third-party service we depend on. Features that depend on an external service — the AI assistant, phone verification, a form endpoint — can be unavailable independently of the rest of the site, and the site says so on screen when that happens.

Acceptable use

You must not do any of the following: attempt to bypass or defeat our security controls, rate limits or verification steps; submit false enquiries or use someone else's phone number or email address; scrape or harvest content or contact details at scale; probe or penetrate the site or its endpoints; send malware; or use the site to break any law or to infringe anyone's rights.

We may block traffic, refuse submissions or disable access where we reasonably believe something like this is happening, and we may report it.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from a reply given by the assistant, and for any loss of data, profits, business or goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our obligations for work we are actually engaged to do are governed by the agreement covering that work, not by this page.
